What we collect

The only information you actively give us is what you type into the contact form: your first and last name, your email address, your school, your sport, and whatever you write in the message field. We ask for these because we cannot answer a question about a program's workload without knowing which program is asking.

Like any website, ours is served by a host that keeps standard server logs. This site runs on Vercel, whose logs can include your IP address, the pages requested, and your browser type. We use them for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.

We also count visits, using Vercel Web Analytics. It tells us how many people opened a page, which page it was, which site sent them, and a rough country and device type. It does not use cookies and does not give you an identifier that follows you to other websites — your IP address is converted into a one-way hash that is discarded within the day, and we never see it. We look at this to learn whether anyone is reading what we wrote, and that is the whole of it.

What we do not collect

Who else touches it

The contact form is operated by Formspree, Inc., which receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Your message therefore passes through Formspree's systems and is subject to their privacy practices in addition to ours. Vercel, our host, processes the server logs and the visit counts described above. Beyond those two, we do not share your information with anyone.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done either.

Why we are allowed to have it

You gave it to us on purpose, in order to start a conversation. We use it to reply to you, to answer whatever you asked, and to follow up about working together. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking for one.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions live in our email and in Formspree's dashboard. We keep correspondence with programs we have worked with or spoken to for as long as the business relationship is live, and we clear out inquiries that never went anywhere. You can ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your choices

Write to hello@lynio.ai and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will stop. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR may give you these rights formally; we intend to honor the same requests from everyone regardless of where they live.

Children

This site is aimed at college athletic department staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we start using a tool that collects something new, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top before we turn it on.

Contact

Questions about any of this go to hello@lynio.ai, and a person will answer.
